For the Curious

For those who may be curious about who I am, I’ll give a brief  summary.

After a stint as a composition major at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, I took an interest in photography.  Beyond a few basic lessons at San Francisco City College, I’m mostly self-taught, yet another testament to my tenuous relationship with higher education.  I’ve worked professionally as an editorial photographer with various other assignments in the corporate and commercial world.  My clients have included British Vogue, Chicago Tribune Magazine, Los Angeles Times Magazine, New York Times Magazine, The Independent, London, Vanity Fair  and a variety of others.

As of 2012, I’ll be teaching black and white darkroom courses at Langara College (Vancouver).

I still have an interest in piano composition and continue to do that as well as teaching piano.
